Mud Hero

Mud Hero, awesome experience deff doing it next year. I might even get in shape for it next time too. So to shoot this one, and in order to get any pics that would even come close to making you say well thats neat I had to go POV. shout out to lil Senny for the loan of the GoPro (mud)Hero2. We had the 12:30 wave on Saturday, weather and conditions were near perfect. Traffic was crazy going in, Windsor didn't know what hit them. also I think we got the last parking spot in the auxiliary parking lot, some ppl were kms down the main road.
 traffic jam!
traffic jam! (jk, start line)
first obstacle (some ppl made some weird choices on how to do this one)
Truckstick Tara just ousted those ladies outta her way, they were just barely able to recover. (as you can  clearly see)
the official Mud Hero, ol MudButtMawson

This was the beginning of the end of the clean lens (mud filter activated)
time for the real mud traps (say bye to that nice white shirt sir)

 going under

A-frame, up and over

there was a lot of stuff in this pit; sticks, leaves, ppl, mud, etc. pretty gross
looking back (also this part of the course went through the on-tree area, nifty idea)
Over...
Under...
what an All-star

I dunno about this one Fudge, looks dark and scary.
Aight im going in! (something that looks like this is usually an exit only...)
Okay! I got this! I'm moving through, just head towards the light, they always say that.

SHIT! im slipping backwards!
FUDGGGGEEEEEEEEE, helpppppp!
 my (mud) Herooo

Some how Tara's shirt stayed clean in this one spot. which was crucial for keeping the lens tolerably clean. #MudFilter

The hill sucked hard! Martock I promise to give you an ounce of respect as a mountain, but none more.

we walking through the spider webs, leave a msg and we'll call you back...nooo doubtttt

climbing the great wall of China
jk, was only a reasonably sized wall. up n ova
Olivia's body language speaks many words
Tara's face says even more. YUP! more mountain to climb
highest point. all down hill from here (Martock lodge in view)
Fireman pole. finally all those stripperobics classes I've been taking are gonna pay off.
solid two foot landing. check the desent trail to the right, going down = more fun than going up.

oh! a rope! where might that lead us (ignore the sign to the right)
WaterSlidesssssss. wweeeeeeee
 eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
SPLASHHHHHH

In case this whole thing didn't feel post-apocalyptic enough, we got to run over deserted cars. sawweettt
major mud filter in effect here. these ppl clearly parked too close to the course.

ooo an inflatable slide looks so funnnnn. WELL ITS NOT, OKAY! not when your exhausted and covered in mud, sweat n tears. (the tears were from the adrenaline, I swear)
its funner on the other side though. weeeeeee
 eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. (Cue dramatic dismount)
