Alight, so this is some secret info. So don't share it with the tourist buses that go to Peggy's Cove. Polly’s Cove is about 2 metric clicks before the entrance to Peggy’s Cove (or just after West Dover on the left side of the road if coming from Halifax). It is easy to miss, since there are no signs, and there is only a gravel parking area big enough for a couple of cars. The only indication of the trail head may be the other car already parked or pulled over there. Or the "Got Junk" sign, also a good indicator. (http://www.halifaxtrails.ca/index_files/PollysCove.htm)

Got Junk Sign------->
Its one of those trails that has a million possible paths that all sorta head the same way
you definitely wanna head towards the right though. The first trail split is easy to see ^
some cool tundra
you can see a few of the path options. it'll all work out in the end.
When you see that big white rock, head towards it, but keep it to your left.
You'll get to the edge of the earth and go, "oh, cool, look, you can see Peggy's Cove from here"
which is prob just crawling with people, getting in your photos and blocking your shots. From here they are tiny ants! ants! that you could photo shop out if you wanted. (but srsly, I don't dislike tourists, but nobody likes a mosh pit on slippery rocks with a lighthouse.)
see that little yellow trail marker? that is your ticket to ride... down the hill. find that and you can navigate your way down to see Polly herself.
And there she is!
It was raining when we left the city to head out, so there was actually no one else around. By the time we got to the cove the sun was just breaking through the clouds, and it ended up being a splendid evening.
Stay tuned for some pretty SennySnaps posting up soon from the rest of the adventure.
